How the grade works
Paste your roster and the grader matches each name against our player database, then prices every player the same way our draft tier board and trade analyzer do: live ADP for your league size and scoring format, bumped up by expert tier grade, and docked for injury designation.
From there it builds your best starting lineup (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 FLEX) and scores four things:
- Starters. Your best lineup's value against a baseline roster drafted one pick per round through round 7.
- Depth. Your bench's value against a baseline bench drafted rounds 8 through 12.
- Upside. The share of your roster that's either a market discount (going later than the tier suggests) or true top-tier talent.
- Risk. Starts at 100 and docks points for every Questionable, Doubtful, Out or IR starter - bench injuries don't cost you your Sunday.
The four sub-scores roll up into one letter grade, plus your single best value pick, biggest reach, and weakest starting spot.
What a good grade looks like
A B+ or better means your starters are pricing out ahead of a roster drafted straight down the board. An A means real depth and a couple of tier 1 or 2 players outperforming their draft slot. A C or below usually means one of two things: a thin bench, or a starting lineup leaning on unmatched or undrafted names the grader couldn't price.
Don't panic over a single low sub-score. A great starting five with a weak bench still grades fine overall - depth matters most once byes and injuries start hitting.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a draft grader or a team rater?
Both. It works right after your draft to grade the picks you made, and it works all season to check your current roster - after waiver moves, trades, or before you decide whether to trade a bench piece away.
Does it work for half PPR and standard?
Yes. Pick standard, half PPR or PPR before grading - the ADP, tiers, and baseline your roster is compared against all shift with scoring format, so use the setting that matches your actual league.
Why is my grade lower than my draft app said?
Different tools grade differently. This one prices every player against live ADP and expert-consensus tiers, then compares your starting lineup to a baseline roster drafted one pick per round - it rewards value over reach, not just star power.
What does Biggest reach mean?
It's the matched player on your roster who was drafted earliest relative to where the expert tiers say he should go - the pick the market thinks cost you the most value.
Can it grade dynasty or superflex teams?
Not well. This grader uses 1 QB redraft values, so superflex QBs are undervalued here - it doesn't know your league starts two quarterbacks. Treat a dynasty or superflex grade as a rough redraft-only reference, not a real verdict.
